Browns Open 2nd Half with Derek Anderson At QB; Benching Brady Quinn

27 September 2009 2 Comments

The Cleveland Browns and Eric Mangini have opened up a can of controversy by opening the second half of the Browns, Ravens game with Derek Anderson at the quarterback position, benching Brady Quinn.

The benching of Brady Quinn initially does not make much sense, as Quinn was 6 of 8 passing for 34 yards, and one interception.  Upon Anderson entering the game on his first drive, Anderson stretched out a third and long, ultimately completing a pass to the Ravens D as well.  Hopefully is future drives produce more than completed passes to Ravens players.

As if the Browns did not have enough issues this year, they now have a revolving door at the quarterback position as well!
