Hi Tasha,

I found this post of yours by accident. Try to post on the current weeks sleeper article, so I can find you. Next week, if you need me, place your question on my week 5 article, which will be available late Tuesday night. Onto your issues.

First, Sproles is playing Pittsburgh, so I would not play a back up running back against them, even though they are clearly missing Troy P's presence.

I don't like Chester Taylor either. If you could pick up Coffee or another running back, I recommend doing that. Who is available in your league?

Your WR issues.

I love Johnny Knox again against Detroit. He has a TD streak, and appears to be one of Cutler's favorite targets.

Sims-Walker has back to back 6 reception games, and would be a good play as well.

Marshall appears to be working his way out of the dog house, but the Cowboys match up will be difficult for Orton and Co.

Holmes was horrible against Cincinnati last week, and S.D. has a better D. He will have more than 1 grab for next to nothing in yards, but how much more is the question.

As for Evans, Edwards can't get T.O. the ball, and only hit Evans for a few yards last week. Miami has a good D. But Evans could get his. I still do not like Evans here.

I look for the upside in players and their trends and match ups.

I would start Knox, Sims-Walker, and if you can't get a better flex option, Marshall just because of what he is capable of.

Hope this helps.

My team took a big hit with Gore last week and now I have Fitz on a bye.. my question is.. who should I start at WR (2 spots plus RB/WR).. S. Holmes, B. Marshall, Knox, Sims-Walker or Lee Evans. I need to make a comeback this week. Thanks for your recommendations:)
Also, should I play Sproles with LT hoping to make a start this week? I also have C. Taylor if I need him in a clutch.
Thanks.

Cereno,

You can bug me all season long, that is what I am here for. I want to see Mike Sims-Walker have more than one good game. I can't remember the last time the Jags had a wide receiver that I would start consistently week after week since Gerrard has taken over at QB. There is value there, the question is, how much? If you have the space, he is a great pick up. If his first game is a sign of things to come, get him before your opponents do, even if you don't plan to use him!

Talk to you next week!

FFL Fan,

Take Shaun Hill out of your thought process immediately. Until he produces a big game, he is not worthy of a start, not to mention, he is playing the Vikings this week!

Kolb and Leftwich are difficult to choose between. Kolb had a great start last week, but the Eagles are moving towards the "Wildcat" offense more. Leftwich has looked great as well, but playing the Giants this week will not be anything that Leftwich is looking forward to. I would go with Kolb this week against the Chiefs, and pray for the best.

At WR, if there was ever a week that Santana Moss was going to go "off", it would be against Detroit this week. Based on Moss's history, he has the greatest "up-side" of your group this week. I would like to see more than one good game out of Sims-Walker. Edwards could be huge, but is hit or miss against the Ravens. I think that Knox has been the most consistent out of this group, but if you are looking for who has the most potential, but it depends if you are looking for maximum points, or consistent players.

Good luck and thanks for the line!
