NFL Week 11 Fantasy Football Sleepers and Waiver Wire Steals
Week 10 is gone and you are one of four people. You are one of the few who are cruising your way into the playoffs, in the driver’s seat, in first place… Or are you the one who would be in the playoffs right now if the season ended today, but you have three weeks left and a ton of pressure from the teams right below you… Are you one of the many who are clawing their way from being one of the non playoff teams and trying everything to move into one of the final playoff spots, or is your season done and now your just trying to screw everyone else?
Regardless of which one you are, (hopefully your one through three) you are reading this because you are looking for more information to help you this week.
So who are this weeks deep sleepers or waiver wire steals?

1. Justin Forsett-RB-Seahawks After starter Julius Jones left yesterday’s game with a chest injury and did not return, Forsett, in his second year out of the University of California, took full advantage of his opportunities. Forsett went off for 123 yards on 17 carries with a touchdown. He also added 5 catches for 26 yards. Jones status at this point is not clear, but in the event that Jones is not available, Forsett is a viable starter. Even if Jones plays, Forsett earned carries off of this performance.
2. Jamall Charles-RB-Chiefs Going into this week, there was speculation as to who the go to back would be for the Chiefs. This week should have cleared this issue up. Charles had 66% of the Chiefs workload as he had 18 carries that he turned into 103 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, his competition, Kolby Smith, had 9 carries for a miserable 12 yards. Charles is still available in over 60% of fantasy leagues and appears to be at a minimum a solid flex play for the remainder of the year.
3. Jason Avant-WR-Eagles There is a ton of talent on the offensive side of the ball for the Eagles, and as I say so often, not enough footballs to go around, but Avant’s performance last week makes him an option if you are looking for a WR that is available this week. Avant had 8 grabs for 156 yards on 9 targets from McNabb. With Michael Westbrook’s health being an issue again this week, McNabb will once again have to carry the load. The Eagles are facing the Chicago Bears on prime time Sunday night football. The Bears defense, with the exception of last week, have been more than generous to opposing offenses through the air, just ask Kurt Warner and his 5 TD’s he threw on them. Avant is available in over 98% of fantasy football leagues, so grab him if you need him.
4. Jason Snelling-RB-Falcons Picking up Snelling is based solely on Michael Turner’s availability, or lack there of going into the Falcons game against the Giants this week. If Turner is not available, Snelling stands to carry the workload for the Falcons, as they have no other options on their team. After Turner left last Sunday’s game, Snelling had 18 carries for 61 yards with a touchdown. Snelling was also involved in the passing game as well as he had 3 catches for 32 yards. Babysit Turner this week and grab Snelling if Turner’s injury turns out to be a substantial one!
